Assessing for Interorganizational Collaborative Capacity: Child-serving systems within Multnomah, Clackamas, and Washington County (February, 2021)

This assessment research study focuses on understanding the interorganizational collaborative capacity of child-serving systems within the Tri-County area. This study was conducted in conjunction with my work on the Children’s Cross-system Collaboration Committee (4Cs), and helped articulate the ability of local organizations and agencies to work together effectively towards shared goals related to care coordination. I administered surveys and interviews, and conducted qualitative and quantitative data analysis to produce this report. Utilizing key insights from this study and the pilot phase of the 4Cs, I identified and advocated for solutions to address complex barriers to care, including developing and administering new systems, policies, or processes. Recommendations guide and support a broader strategic direction to improve collaborative efforts at the organizational level.
